Privacy Policy

This policy describes data processing in Keepio on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android, as well as keepio.fr and support. The Android and Apple sections describe each platform separately.

Data controller

Keepio is published by Carolane Lefebvre as an individual. Carolane Lefebvre is the controller for personal data processing carried out for Keepio. For questions or requests about your data, contact contact@keepio.fr.

Android: your data stays on your device

Keepio on Android does not require an account. Your projects, tasks, subtasks, notes, preferences and Focus sessions stay on your device. They are not sent to a server or synced between your devices.

Android: protected notes and data retention

Your protected notes are encrypted and kept on your device.

Android automatic backup is disabled for Keepio. Your content stays on the device until you delete it. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data may permanently delete your content, including protected notes. Keepio does not have a copy from which to recover it.

Android: statistics and crash reports

Your Focus statistics are calculated on your device from your sessions and are not sent to an analytics service. The Android app does not use services for advertising tracking, tracking your productivity activity or remote crash reporting.

Android: reminders and notifications

Reminders and end-of-session notifications are scheduled on your device. You can enable or disable them in Android notification settings.

Android: Google Play purchases

If you make a Keepio+ purchase in the Android version, Google Play processes payment under its own terms and privacy policy. Keepio and its publisher do not receive your payment card details.

Apple app data

Keepio does not require an account. The information you save is kept on your device. It includes:

  • Projects, tasks and subtasks, notes, tags, templates and saved resources
  • Deadlines, internal calendar data, Pomodoro sessions and organization settings

Your project, task and note content is not sent to the Keepio team through iCloud sync. Information you choose to share with support is handled separately, as described below.

Apple: storage and iCloud sync

Your data stays on your device and syncs automatically between your Apple devices when you use the same Apple Account and allow Keepio to access iCloud. It passes through your private iCloud, whose content the Keepio team cannot access.

You manage access in your device’s iCloud settings. In Keepio, the Calendar Sync setting only copies your items to Apple Calendar; it does not control data sync between devices.

Apple: offline use

Your projects, tasks, notes, tags, templates, saved resources, internal calendar and Pomodoro remain usable without a connection. Syncing, contacting support and opening external content that has not loaded yet require Internet access.

When you open an external link, that website applies its own privacy policy.

Apple Intelligence

Text you give Apple Intelligence to prepare a task is processed on your device. These features can be used offline once the necessary files have been downloaded.

On iPhone, iOS 26 or later is required. Apple Intelligence must be available and enabled on your device, in a supported language. Check the suggested details before saving your task.

Apple: services used

Keepio uses the following services:

  • Apple iCloud: syncing data between devices when you allow it.
  • App Store: processing Keepio+ payments.
  • Sentry: crash reports to help fix app errors.
  • TelemetryDeck UG: optional usage statistics, only with your consent. Data is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany.

Apple handles payment; Keepio does not receive your payment card details. Sentry and TelemetryDeck settings are described below.

Apple: crash reports and statistics

Two services help us fix errors and understand which features are used:

  • Sentry sends crash reports to help us find the cause. This service remains active.
  • TelemetryDeck sends statistics about which features are used and how often, only with your consent in Settings → Privacy. Project names, note content and task titles are not included.

You can turn off TelemetryDeck statistics at any time in Settings → Privacy. This does not turn off Sentry crash reports.

Contact and support

When you contact us, we receive the information you share. The website form asks for your name, email, subject and message so we can reply. This information is sent to our support address through Resend.

Information sent to support is separate from content stored in the app. Please avoid sending passwords or sensitive information that is not needed for your request.

Website analytics

The keepio.fr website uses Umami Cloud to measure website traffic. This measurement is separate from Focus statistics calculated locally on Android and from TelemetryDeck usage analytics in the Apple versions.

Your choices and rights

On Android, you can clear Keepio’s data in your device settings; this may permanently delete your content, including protected notes. On Apple devices, you can delete content in Keepio, manage iCloud access in device settings and turn off statistics in Keepio’s privacy settings.

For requests about personal data handled by the Keepio team, write to contact@keepio.fr. You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to certain processing, subject to applicable legal conditions. You can also complain to the CNIL or your competent data protection authority.

Children’s privacy

Keepio does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences.

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. Data synced through iCloud is encrypted using Apple’s security measures.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or our website.
